SDS Parents' Day Cake | Reunion dinner does not mean for Chinese New Year only. A sumptuous feast for parents shared by children are important as a reunion dinner during Parents’ Day too. In consideration of this special season for people to show their love to parents, SDS has introduced high popularity Parents’ Day special cakes and café set meal for a heart-warming Parents’ Day celebration with parents.

Ranging from RM65 to RM80 accordingly, 6 exquisite cakes have introduced for Mother’s Day and 6 cake selections have introduced for Father’s Day celebration by SDS this year. 

Delicate Mother’s Day cakes such as “Hearty Yummy”, heart shape red velvet cake with cheese mousse, “Heart of Love”, chocolate sponge with hazelnut and chocolate mousse for chocolate lovers, and all-time favourites vanilla sponge with mix fruit fillings, “Fruity Mama” are suitable to cater favourites of customers. Photogenic two tier cake, “Sweety Mommy”, made by vanilla sponge and lychee cheesy milk mousse is also available for warm Mother’s Day celebration. Apart from that, two Gelato cake selections which cater current hot weather, “Super Mom”, chocolate sponge with Cookies & Cream Gelato, and “Queen of Gold”, Vanilla Sponge with Musang King Gelato are available at SDS on this Mother’s Day.

Free music box and fragrant carnation are available for mummy with purchase of any Mother’s Day cake while stocks last. Besides, early bird who pre-order Mother’s Day cake before 24 April 2019 or Father’s Day cake before 29 May 2019 is able to enjoy 10% discount for non-member whereas 15% discount is available for SDS members. RM10 Parents’ Day set discount voucher will be available for customers with purchase of any Parents’ Day cake too, while stocks last. Furthermore, all daddies are eligible to receive free “daddy’s mug” with purchase of any Father’s Day cake, while stocks last.

Apart from Mother’s Day cake, Father’s Day cake introduced by SDS this year is also capable to present deepest love and appreciation to daddy. The most significant Father’s Day cake introduced by SDS during press conference is “My Lovely Dad” which is the Belgium chocolate moist cake made with Earl Grey cheese mousse, which is also known as the brand new flavour in Parents’ Day cake series. Camera- ready cakes such as “Best Daddy”, glossy vanilla sponge with caramel cheesy milk mousse, “Fruit Frenzy”, vanilla sponge with mix fruit fillings, and “Super Dad”, chocolate sponge with Macadamia nuts and chocolate mousse are also available for customers to express their love for dad in this Father’s Day. Besides, there are also two Gelato cake selections, “Hero Dad”, chocolate sponge with Cookies & Cream Gelato, and “King of Kingdom”, chocolate sponge with Belgium chocolate Gelato will be launched for heart-warming Father’s Day celebration. 

SDS Parents’ Day cakes will be on sale from 25 April 2019 onwards. Pre-order 3 days in advance is required for each cake. According to Ms. Rachel, marvellous Parents’ Day set meal which will be available at SDS café from 25 April to 16 June 2019 are including specialty drinks in jar, “Happy Family”, starters “Marinated Cherry Tomato” and “Apple Salad”, and main courses which can be selected from “Mushroom Aglio Olio”, “Italian Seafood Pasta”, “Honey Rock Sugar Black Pepper Tilapia”, “Herbal Spring Chicken Soup with Rice”, and “Cranberry Roasted Chicken Chop”. Crispier lovers can also choose to add on “Cheesy Baked Crisper” at RM5.90++ (A-la-carte price RM8.90++) or “Korean Spicy Fried Chicken Wing (3pcs)” at RM9.90++ (A-la-carte price RM13.90++).
